...and listen to great local music. Here in our town of San Luis Obispo, CA, a well spent Friday evening is among friends with wine in hand. In the summer, there are endless options to enjoy wine outside. We are one of those lucky small towns that has those beautifully warm evenings with killer sunsets. What's better, local wineries offer live music in the summer months. Sips and Songs: Claiborne & Churchill, a small family owned winery in San Luis Obispo, hosts this every Friday from June to September. Each week there is a different band and different food vendor. Bring your chairs, blankets and buy a bottle of vino from the tasting room, then pick a spot on their front lawn. Music is from 5:30-7:30pm. Sunset in the Vineyard at Wolff Vineyards: Another local favorite, Woff Vineyards features rich Syrahs that pair perfectly with the gorgeous sunset over their vineyards. Enjoy weekly live music and food from 5pm until sunset. Concerts in the Plaza: If you're a local, you wait all year for this. Weekly concerts in our beloved downtown Mission Plaza featuring wines from Chamisal Vineyards, beer from Firestone Walker Brewing Co. and plenty of dancing. After the concert is over, you're already steps away from restaurants and wine bars so there's no excuse not to continue the fun!
