There is nothing like realizing you’ve forgotten your sports bra or running shoes when you’re on the way to the gym. It’s the worst! Here are some of the items we simply won’t leave behind.
- Sanitizing wipes – some gyms provide these (lucky you!) but mine doesn’t. Before hopping on the stairmaster or treadmill, I wipe down all the surfaces and hand holds. Gym germs are no joke.
- Sunscreen – yes, even in an indoor gym. The gym I go to has huge windows and skylights so I wash my face pre-workout and put a thin layer of SPF all over my face, neck and hands before I start sweating.
- Biddettes – for those light-workout days, I skip a full shower and use Biddettes to freshen up after my workout. Then I wash my face (again) and put my hair up in a ponytail and I’m out the door!
- Dry shampoo – what a game-changer! I have short bangs and no matter how I try and restrain them, some hair inevitably falls free during my workout. I spray my bangs and the nape of my neck with dry shampoo to absorb excess oil. It makes my hair (appear) clean!
